A young child's progress in their musical development is a triad affair of pupil, teacher and parent. If success is to be achieved it is vitally important that the child is guided and instructed well by the teacher, the child heeds those instructions and practices them diligently and that the parents are actively involved and encouraging in their child's musical learning. Our two booklets aim to facilitate this triad. The 'Weekly Practice Notebook' is great for between lesson guidance and communications and the booklet 'My Child Won't Practise!' provides non-musical parents with advice on how to encourage their child at home.
